They met in a 7th grade English class.

James had a crush on Emily ever since the two became friends.

Emily always saw James as a really good friend.

By the end of high school, James had not given up on Emily and still loved her.

After seeing each other at a mutual friend’s party, they decided to catch up later on at a local tavern.

They talked for hours and when they went to say good bye, almost kissed. They both noticed it.

Out for ice cream on another day, they both talked about their feelings.

James finally exited the friend zone.

4 years later, James proposed December of 2020.

And 2 years later, here we all were, celebrating the once 7th grade crush, turned best friend and wife for life.
